Why Hire Me?


I get it. Since 2022 the tech industry has been a bit of shitshow. I have heard and seen the MOST redundancies and job seekers on the market than EVER. So why would you hire me? – The choice will always be yours. BUT here is what you do get if you hire me.

Having over seven years in transformation programmes and projects of large and small scale means that I’m used to dynamic environments and adapting to the project as needed. With each project I’ve changed my skills to suit the role. I have been a senior consultant (Digital) and Product Manager (software) but have wore many other hats; Project manager, delivery manager, data analyst to name a few.

Recently I attempted to start my own venture but decided to part ways with my co-founder. While sad, the process taught me so much about the world of start-ups and even helped me connect with an accelerator! I know provide an extra pair of hands to the founds in the programme. Think strategies, experiments a “lets try this” approach. MVP, user interviews the full shindig.


Managing stakeholders at ALL levels. I know how to tailor my communication (written and verbal) to suit to the audience. I think this fundamentally comes down to being emotionally intelligent. I tune into the room and adapt accordingly. Although, my approach with anything is to keep it simple.

Problem solving on the go. I LOVE detangling messes. Juggling priorities and finding solutions that align is what makes the job interesting. Throw in data into the mix and making a decision becomes easy. Having the ability to provide big picture thinking and granular details is one I cherish. It helps me put together how things work and how to drive the project at hand forward with all the moving parts (dependencies).

Ultimately it’s about bringing people on the journey. More than processes or technology, aligning everyone to shoot for that SAME goal. I love what I do and because of it work does not feel like “work”. This is because it’s a team sport. I’ve tried building something on my own and it failed terribly. Maybe it’s naive but I’m a believer in empowering people. Hierarchy, bureaucracy and red tape are what hinders innovation and in this technological world, that’s the last thing we need.

-> Will I be another number or will I get to make a real impact. Whether its helping you as a business or supporting the users to get their problems solved!

-> Does the Product (software) OR Service provide a good solution? Tech for good is the sweet spot.

-> Strategic – I want to bring my creative and entrepreneurial spirit to my work.

-> Remote First or Hybrid with a balance – While I am an extrovert at heart, my best work happens when I get some time at home to block out any distractions.

-> Growth opportunities – I want to become the best and for that I need room to grow, gets hands-on and upskill.

-> CULTURE – I do not want to end up in a bad environment again. Care about it’s people, we’re in this TOGETHER. Ego’s can be checked out at the door please.

Matching Salary Expectations—I am career and value-driven, but the bank and gas providers do not accept hopes and dreams as payment. So, I’ve calculated a level of compensation for my experience. Hopefully, it aligns with your expectations, too!


Perhaps after reading all this I’ve lost my chance at working for you. Perhaps I’ve gained it. Truth is I don’t know but what I do know if being my authentic self will mean anyone that accepts the above is a great match. We can build and grow together. And that is all I ask for.
